The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) under the Govt. of West Bengal has released the recruitment notification for the post of Warder/Female Warder. The notification was released for a total of 816 vacancies. The eligible candidates who are aiming for the recruitment can either apply online or offline. The selected candidates will get paid in the scale of INR 5,400 - 25,200/- (i.e., pay band-2) + grade pay INR 2,600/-. The last date to apply online is March 16, 2019.

- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- The candidates must not be less than 18 years and must not be more than 27 years old as on 01/01/2019.
- The age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to SC and ST categories of West Bengal only.
- Candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- The candidate must possess a certificate of computer literacy from the recognised institute.
West Bengal Warder Physical Standard
(A) For Warder

Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 152 cm.
Candidates have to appear for a Competitive Written Examination of 90 marks followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) [qualifying in nature] and Interview.
How To Apply
Candidates can either apply online or offline for the post of Warder/Female Warder. To apply online, candidates need to visit the official website of West Bengal Police - www.wbpolice.gov.in. Candidates have to pay INR 200 as application fee along with INR 20 as processing fee. However, candidates belonging to SC and ST categories need not pay the application fee.
