VIT varsity bags best university award by ASSOCHAM

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has selected VIT University as the Best University at the National Level for the second successive year.

ASSOCHAM gives awards every year under various categories like Best University, Best Govt. University, Best Private University, Best University in the Rural Area etc.,

The awardees were selected by Eminent Jury, considering various aspects like Leadership, Innovation in Academics, Scalability, Ability to overcome challenges, Admission, Collaboration with industry and foreign institutions, Placement, Faculty Research and Publications, Accreditation, Achievements, Impact Potential etc.,

This prestigious National Award was given by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Karan Singh, MP, in a glittering function conducted by ASSOCHAM at New Delhi on 19th February 2014. Dr. S. Narayanan, Pro-Vice Chancellor has received the award, on behalf of VIT.
