VIT University extends dates for B.Tech admission to NRIs

Admission dates extended for B.Tech course to NRIs


Earlier, the date for submitting the application form was 10th March 2014. Now it has been extended to 27th March 2014.

VIT University, Vellore, had started issuing the application form to the Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and Foreign Students for admission to B.Tech programmes on 02nd December 2014.

Admissions to these candidates will be based on marks obtained in qualifying examination and availability of seats.

In the third week of March 2014, university will announce the shortlisted candidates in its website.

Please Note:

  • The candidate should fulfill the academic eligibility criteria for confirming the admission.
  • After admission, while scrutinizing the records, if a candidate is found to be ineligible, the admission will stand cancelled at the discretion of the management.
  • For ineligible students, the refund will be given as per the norms of VIT.
  • International students are expected to abide by the rules of the University. The code of conduct that is applicable to Indian students studying in the university, is applicable to them as well.
