Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the Visva-Bharati University Convocation 2021 on February 19 via video conferencing. PM Modi will be speaking at the annual conference at 11 am. The convocation of Visva-Bharati University will be held from 9:30 am to 12 noon at Amra Kunja, Santiniketan. The Acharya, Visva-Bharati along with Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, MoS for Education Sanjay Dhotre and Governor of West Bengal will grace the occasion.

As per the official sources, a total of 2,535 students will receive their degrees during the annual ceremony of Visva-Bharati University Convocation. Visva-Bharati University is believed to be the oldest central university in India founded by Rabindranath Tagore in 1921. The Government has declared the Visva-Bharati University as "an Institution of National Importance" by an Act of Parliament, 1951.
