In a remarkable achievement at the International Groovefest Competition held in Malaysia from November 18th to 19th, 2024, Vipra Dobriyal, a class IX student from Khaitan Public School in Sahibabad, distinguished herself on the global stage. Competing with 453 contenders from 18 different countries, including the likes of the USA, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, Vipra clinched the 1st Runner-Up position in the 14+ Bharatanatyam category. Her exceptional skill in Bharatanatyam not only earned her accolades but also showcased the rich cultural heritage of India on an international platform. The competition was a rigorous one, with two rounds labeled Finale and Grand Finale that tested the participants to their limits. Among the 143 skilled dancers in her category, Vipra stood out for her grace, technique, and commanding stage presence. The jury, comprising notable personalities like classical dancer Ms. Sudha Chandran, choreographer Devesh Mirchandani, and dance experts Vrushali and Medha Sampat, lauded her performance, highlighting the high caliber of talent present.

Mr. Anirudh Khaitan, the Chairman of Khaitan Public School, expressed his pride and joy over Vipra's accomplishment, stating, "We are incredibly proud of Vipra for bringing this prestigious honor to our country.
