Verification OMR Answer Sheets : JEE Main 2014

All the candidates who have appeared in the pen and paper based examination of JEE Main 2014 (Paper- I) held on 06th April are informed that the scanned images of OMR answer sheets of the candidates with their recorded responses will be uploaded on the website from 25th April 2014. Such candidates are allowed to challenge the recorded responses if these differ from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet.

 

The challenge of scanned images of OMR answer sheets will be accepted online only, through the link available on the website of JEE Main latest by 2.00 PM on 28th April 2014.

The challenges submitted by post or in person will not be accepted. The prescribed fee of Rs. 1,000/- per recorded response challenged will be required to be submitted through credit / debit card or e-Challan only upto 2.00PM on 28th April 2014. The fee once paid is non refundable.

If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if the recorded response is not the same as marked by the candidate on OMR sheet, the correction will be done and the fee will be refunded. In case, any registered candidate does not submit the challenge by the prescribed date and time, it will be presumed that his/her recorded response is the same as marked on OMR sheet. The CBSE's decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.

The question paper and recorded responses of examinees, who have appeared for computer based examination of JEE Main 2014 have already been sent on their registered mail IDs so no challenge will be accepted from such candidates.

Before viewing the OMR sheets, the candidates who have still not submitted their roll nos. of class 12th / qualifying examination are required to submit the same on the JEE Main website.

The candidates who have already submitted their roll nos. of class 12th / qualifying examination may view the same and in case of any discrepancy, they must send scanned copy of their roll nos / mark-sheet of class 12th / qualifying examination through e-mail only on jeemain@nic.in.
