UPTET 2016: Results likely to be declared today

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET), results are expected to be announced today i.e. on March 28, by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Over 9 lakh students appeared in this eligibility test, and the exam was held on February 2 at 1,128 centres.

How to view the results?

Candidates can follow the below steps to check the result

  • Candidates should visit the official website
  • Thereafter, click on the link, 'UPTET Results'
  • The candidates should enter the required details
  • After submitting the same, the results will get displayed on the screen
  • Candidates must take a print-out for future reference

About UPTET:

UP TET is a qualifying exam for teachers. Candidates who qualifies can teach primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.

Aspirants can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or for both to be able to teach primary and upper primary. The UP TET certification is valid for a period of five years.

While interested candidates can reappear anytime.
