UPTET 2021 Exam Postponed Amid Surge In Covid-19 Cases, Check Latest Updates

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 has been postponed by the Uttar Pradesh government till further notice. The UPTET 2021 examination was scheduled to be conducted on 25 July 2021.

Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh government has postponed the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 till further notice. The State government has also delayed the release of the UPTET notification that was scheduled to be issued on 11 May 2021. The UPTET 2021 examination was scheduled to be conducted on 25 July 2021. The new dates for the examination will be announced in due course.

UPTET 2021 Exam Postponed Amid Covid-19 Surge

The online registration for the UPTET was to begin from 18 May 2021 till 01 June 2021. The admit card was scheduled to release on 20 July 2021 and the result was scheduled to be announced on 20 August 2021.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Pareeksha Niyamak Pradhandhikari which is a state-level eligibility test for teachers. The UPTET examination is held to fill up the vacancies for teachers in the state government-run schools for primary and upper primary. The examination is held in two shifts and around 10 lakh candidates appear for the exam every year.
