Uttar Pradesh State Technical University (UPTU) has revised the exam dates for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Candidates can now check it out on the official website upsee.nic.in.

Why are UPSEE 2018 dates revised?
The dates are revised so that it does not clash with the JEE Main 2018 online exams that are scheduled on 15 and 16 April.
Earlier, the entrance exam for undergraduate engineering and management courses were to be held on April 15, 2018 (Sunday) and the entrance for postgraduate courses will be held on April 21, 2018 (Saturday) and April 22, 2018 (Sunday).

UPSEE 2018 Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 class from UP board or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% with physics and mathematics as subjects (For BTech)
- SC/ST candidates need a minimum aggregate of 40% in their 10+2 exams
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 class from UP board or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% with physics and biology as subjects (For BTech Biotechnology)

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh set up by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000. To reduce workload and to ensure proper management, the university was bifurcated into separate universities: Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University with effect from 1 May 2010. In 2013, as the new government came into power this university was again formed by combining the two back together on 5 January 2013.
