The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a press note providing an update on the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2022. The initial results were announced on December 23, 2022, recommending 213 candidates for appointment based on merit.

In accordance with Rule 13(iv) and Rule 13(v) of the Rules of Engineering Services Examination 2022, the UPSC has also maintained a consolidated Reserve List in order of merit, following the last recommended candidate.
Now, as per the requisition placed by the Department of Telecommunication under the Ministry of Telecommunications, the Commission has recommended an additional 33 candidates to fill the remaining vacancies based on the Engineering Services Examination 2022. Out of these 33 candidates, 26 belong to the Unreserved category, and 7 are from the Other Backward Classes category.
The Engineering Services Examination (Main) 2022 (Reserved List) includes candidates from the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The list of candidates selected from each discipline is as follows:
The Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communications, will directly communicate with the recommended candidates. This reserved list announcement provides an opportunity for these candidates to fill the remaining vacancies.
