Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced a recruitment notification regarding vacancies for posts like Assistant Chemist, Marketing Officer, Specialist for the year 2017. A total of 32 vacancies are available for interested candidates.
Candidates can apply for the vacancies by applying online on UPSC's official website. The last date for the submission of the online application is August 10, 2017.
The UPSC will be recruiting for three posts - Marketing Officer, Specialist and Assistant Chemist.
There are different vacancies for each post. For Marketing Officer there are 28 vacancies available.The Specialist post has 3 vacancies available. For the post of Assistant Chemist there is one vacancy available.
Pay Scale
The pay scale that is offered for the role of the Marketing officer is Rs. 44,900 - 1,43,400 per month. The vacancy of the Specialist is offered a pay scale for Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 per month.
The vacancy for th the Assistant Chemist which has one vacancy is offered the pay scale for Rs.9300 - 34,800 per month.
Required Qualificationsfor UPSC Recruitment 2017
- The Marketing officer post requires the applicants to have a Master's degree in Botany or in Agricultural Economics. Also a two years experience in the field of Agricultural marketing is required.
- Candidates applying fr the post of the Specialist, the candidate must have a MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- The post for Assistant Chemist requires the candidates to have a Master's degree in Chemistry or in Agricultural Chemistry.
Application Fee
The fee required to be submitted for the application is Rs. 25 and it can be deposited by depositing the cash in SBI or by net banking.
The application fee can also be paid by Visa/Master/Debit/Credit cards. Application without the fee would not be accepted. Women and candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PH categories do not have to pay the fees.
