UPSC Notification 2020 For 886 IAS And IFS Posts, Apply Online Before March 3

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 886 vacancies in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) streams through direct recruitment to be posted in various departments under Government of India. The application process towards the same started on February 12, 2020 and closes on March 3, 2020 by 6:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for IAS and IFS posts through UPSC Notification 2020 must have attained 21 years of age and not have exceeded 32 years as on August 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per the Govt. of India and UPSC guidelines.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 as application processing fee, except SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc) mode or through Offline (cash mode).

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for IAS and IFS posts through UPSC Notification 2020 must possess a Bachelor's Degree; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/Botany/Chemistry/ Geology/Mathematics/Physics/Statistics and Zoology/Agriculture/Forestry or in Engineering from a recognised University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for IAS and IFS posts through UPSC Notification 2020 will be done through a Competitive Examination (Prelims and Mains Examination).

Candidates selected for Enforcement Officers post through Recruitment will be paid emolument as per the UPSC norms.
