UPSC NDA 2 registration 2024 Starts; Know Application process, Eligibility and more details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened its online registration for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination II for 2024. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply through the UPSC's official portal, upsc.gov.in.

UPSC NDA 2 registration 2024 Starts

This recruitment drive is set to fill 404 vacancies, with 370 spots available in the National Defence Academy and 34 in the Naval Academy. Applications must be submitted by June 4, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Army Wing of the NDA, candidates need to have completed their 12th class in the 10+2 school education pattern or an equivalent exam conducted by a state education board or university. Those aiming for the Air Force and Naval Wings of the NDA, as well as the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Naval Academy, must have finished 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics following the 10+2 education pattern or its equivalent.

Application Process

Candidates interested in applying for the UPSC NDA, NA II Exam 2024 can follow these steps to submit their application:

  • Visit the UPSC website at upsc.gov.in and navigate to the "Examination" section.
  • Look for the NDA, NA (II) exam 2024 notification and read it thoroughly to understand all requirements.
  • Register on the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal, and then log in to fill out the application form with the necessary personal, educational, and contact information.
  • Upload required documents, including photographs and signatures, as specified.
  • Pay the application fee online, except for SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs who are exempt.
  • Review and submit the completed application form. Ensure to download and print a copy for future reference.

Application fee

The application fee for most candidates is Rs 100, payable via various online modes or by cash at any branch of the State Bank of India. Importantly, there's a correction window for the application from June 5 to June 11, 2024.
