UPSC Mains 2024 Exam Date is OUT : Check the date here and know the steps to apply

UPSC will close the online Detailed Application Form (DAF-1) submission window for the Mains exam today, July 12, 2024. Candidates who have cleared the prelims must submit their DAF-1 forms on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

Applications for the DAF-1 form began on July 1, 2024. With today being the final day, candidates who haven't yet applied should do so immediately to avoid disqualification.

How to Apply for UPSC Mains 2024 DAF-1?

• Visit the UPSC Official Website: Go to upsc.gov.in.
• One-Time Registration: On the homepage, click on the "One Time Registration" link.
• Enter Credentials: A new page will appear where you need to enter your credentials.
• Fill Out the DAF Form: Complete the DAF form and click submit.
• Download and Print: Download the completed DAF-1 form and keep a hard copy for future reference.

Important Instructions

The official notice states: "All the qualified candidates are required to fill up the DAF-I ONLINE and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024. Important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission are also available on the website. The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the above website before filling up the ONLINE DAF-I."
