UPSC Mains 2022 Day 1 Concludes: The Union Public Service Commission has commenced the UPSC Mains 2022 exam from today, September 16, 2022. The first paper, Essay was conducted in the first shift today from 9 am to 12 pm. UPSC Mains 2022 Day 1 Concludes

UPSC Mains examination is going to be conducted from September 16 to 18, 2022 in two shifts every day. The commission released the hall tickets for the students earlier this month.

UPSC Mains 2022 Exam: Questions Asked

The first day of the UPSC CSE Mains exam was conducted only for the Essay paper. There were two sections in the examination, A and B. Candidates have to attempt one question from each section. The paper was held for a total of 250 marks and each question accounted for 125 marks.

UPSC Mains 2022 Day 1 Analysis

As per educators, the topics asked in today's UPSC CSE Mains exam were easy as compared to the previous year. However, citing the abstract questions asked the aspirants find it easy to attempt. Section A was comparatively easier than section B. Section A had questions based on current affairs. However, the questions of the second section were quite difficult to build and link dimensions.

The commission is going to conduct the Paper-II General Studies-I and Paper-III General Studies-II in two shifts tomorrow.
