UPSC Mains 2017 Time Table Released: Check Now!

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the time table for Civil Services Mains Examination, 2017, (Written) on its official website. Candidates can view the time table on the official website.

When is the UPSC exam conducted?

  • The UPSC examination will be held from October 28, 2017, and will continue until November 3, 2017. The first paper 'Essay' will be conducted on October 28, 2017, between 9 am and 12 noon.

About the UPSC exam pattern:

The civil services examination is conducted in two successive stages:

1) Preliminary (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination

2) Civil Services (Main) Examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts announced.

Approximately 980 vacancies would be filled through the examination. Candidates who have passed the preliminary exam have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Mains) Examination.
