UPSC Geo Scientist Final Result 2021 Declared, Check Combined Geo-Scientist Exam Final Result Here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Final Result Combined Geo-Scientist Main examination 2021 on its official website. The UPSC Geo Scientist Final Result 2021 has been made available on the commission's website upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam Final Result is released based on UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Prelims) examination 2021 held on February 21, 2021, and UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) examination 2021 held on July 17 and 18, 2021, and followed by the Personality Test conducted in the month of November 2021 by the commission.

UPSC Geo Scientist Final Result 2021 declared

"Based on the results of the Stage-I (Preliminary) Examination held on 21st February 2021, Stage-II (Main) Examination held on 17th & 18th July, 2021 of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2021 conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION and followed by the Personality Test in the month of November 2021," a UPSC notice on UPSC Geo Scientist Final Result 2021 said.

Candidates who have emerged successful in the USPC Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2021 final result are recommended for appointment to the posts of Chemist, Group 'A' in the Geological Survey of India; and Scientist 'B' (Hydrogeology), Group 'A', Scientist 'B' (Chemical), Group 'A' and Scientist 'B' (Geophysics), Group 'A' in the Central Ground Water Board.

A total of 57 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the above-mentioned posts as against the 65 vacancies reported by the Government to be filled. However, the result of 12 recommended candidates with roll numbers published under the UPSC Geo Scientist Final Result 2021 is provisional.

Candidates must note that the offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates. The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of the Combined Geo-Scientist Exam Final Result.
