The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the release of the reserve list for the Engineering Services Examination (Main) 2023. This update was made public through an official notification on the UPSC website; upsc.gov.in.

The reserve list features the names and roll numbers of 81 candidates.
Details of Selected Candidates:
As per the notification, 81 candidates have been recommended based on the requirements put forth by the Department of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Communications. Out of these, 58 candidates belong to disadvantaged categories, 17 candidates are from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), and six are from economically weaker sections (EWS).
The Department of Telecommunications will communicate directly with these recommended candidates to further the process. However, it is important to note that three candidates-bearing roll numbers 0502083, 0807832, and 2100783-are on a provisional status.
Provisional Candidature Conditions:
For those with provisional candidature, UPSC clarified that their offer of appointment will not be issued until the verification of their original documents is completed. The provisional status will remain valid for three months from the date of the reserve list announcement. If the required documents are not submitted within this period, the provisional candidates' selection will be cancelled without any further communication.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Examination" tab located at the top of the home page.
Step 3: Under the "Examination" section, click on either "Active Examinations" or "Examination Results."
Step 4: Find and click the link for the "Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2023" result.
Step 5: Download the Reserve List PDF.
Step 6: Save the PDF to your device.
Step 7: Print a copy for future reference.
Release Date and Total Recommendations:
The results for the Engineering Services Exam 2023 were declared on November 22, 2023. In total, 401 candidates were recommended for appointment based on their order of merit.
