UPSC ESE 2018 Examination: Check Updates!

The Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for UPSC ESE Examination 2018. The commission conducts the Engineering Service Exam (ESE) annually which is also known as IES.

The commission had released a notification inviting applications for 588 Engineer posts in fields like Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, and Mechanical.

UPSC had concluded the applications and closed the window for the EES 2018 examination on October 23, 2017. The applicants who registered successfully can check the official notification for information related yo admit card In the official website of UPSC.

How to Prepare for UPSC exams?

The admit cards are expected to be released in the month of December 2017. The UPSC ESE 2018 examination will be conducted in the month of January 2018. There will be 3 phases of the recruitment process. These tiers will be the UPSC ESE prelims examination, the Main exams and the last round which will be the Personal Interview.

The results of the UPSC ESE 2018 examination is expected to be released by the month of February. The main examination will be conducted on July 01, 2018.

Candidates must keep note of the following instructions for the exams:

  • The candidates must use black ball only for the writing and the marking of answers in the OMR sheets in the objective type papers. Pens with other colors are prohibited.
  • Candidates must remember that the answer sheet will be liable for rejection in case of omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding/filling of details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to the details like - Roll Number and Test Booklet Series code.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry Mobile phones, pagers, blue-tooth or communication devices on the premises of examination venue
