UPSC EPFO Latest Updates
July 9, 2021: The UPSC has released an important notice regarding the recruitment to the post of Enforcement Officer - Accounts Officer, EPFO. The Commission has clarified that no request to change of test centre will be entertained. The written exam will be held as per the scheduled date, i.e., September 5, 2021.
June 23, 2021: The UPSC has announced that the EPFO 2021 exam will be held on September 5. It has also announced that the UPSC EPFO admit cards released also cancelled. The Commission will release the new admit cards soon.
April 19, 2021: The UPSC has postponed the EPFO Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer written exam scheduled on May 9 due to the surge in the COVID-19 cases across the country.
December 15, 2020: The Commission has activated the request for change of recruitment test centre. Candidates can change their centres from December 15 to 21, 2020. Candidates should note that their requests for change in the Centres will be considered based on the principle of "first-apply-first allot" basis. The official website reads, "Request for generating OTP for Change of Recruitment Test Centre will be accepted only till 5:30 PM of the closing Date."
It also reads, "The candidates, who are not interested to change their Recruitment Test Centres, are not required to log into this Recruitment Test Centres change system of the Commission."
December 7, 2020: The UPSC has released a notice regarding the option to submit the revised choice of centre for the recruitment test. The recruitment test will be held at 72 centres. 49 centres having available capacity will be opened in the first phase.

UPSC EPFO Exam Pattern
The UPSC EPFO exam pattern for the posts of Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer will consist of a written exam and an interview. The UPSC EPFO recruitment test will be a pen & paper based. Candidates who were shortlisted in the written exam will be called for the interview round.
The official notice reads, "Recruitment Test (RT) and Interview carry weightage in the ratio of 75:25 for the candidates shortlisted based on Recruitment Test (RT) and qualify in the interview."

Candidates who were shortlisted for the post of Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer in EPFO will get the pay scale as Level 8 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
