The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024. Eligible candidates can now download their admit cards from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The admit cards will remain accessible from September 13 to September 29, 2024.

The UPSC CSE Mains exam is scheduled to begin on September 20, 2024. To access their admit cards, candidates should visit the UPSC website, click on the 'Admit Card' tab, and select 'E-admit cards for various examinations of UPSC.' From there, they need to click on the 'CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAMINATION, 2024' link, enter their registration number and password, and download their admit card. It is highly recommended to print a copy for future use.

The Civil Services Mains Exam will be held over five days: September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024. The exams will take place in two shifts: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The examination starts with Paper I and concludes with Papers VI and VII.
Only candidates who passed the UPSC Prelims, held on June 16, 2024, and whose results were declared on July 1, 2024, are eligible to sit for the Mains. This recruitment drive seeks to fill 1,056 vacancies across various departments.
