UPSC CMS Admit Card 2024 Released: Know Steps to Download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit card for the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2024 on July 5, 2024. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. The UPSC CMS exam is scheduled to take place on July 14, 2024, and aims to fill 827 Medical Officer vacancies.

Steps to Download UPSC CMS 2024 Admit Card

To download the UPSC CMS Admit Card 2024, follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to upsconline.nic.in.
  • Find the Relevant Link: Look for the link titled "E-Admit Card for Combined Medical Services Examination 2024".
  • Enter Required Details: Input your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha code as prompted.
  • Submit Information: Click on the 'Submit' button.
  • Download Admit Card: Your digital hall ticket will be generated and available for download.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

Candidates appearing for the CMS exam must adhere to the following important instructions:

  • Check for Discrepancies: Review your e-Admit Card for any discrepancies and report them to the Commission immediately.
  • Mandatory Documents: On exam day, bring a printout of your e-Admit Card and an original Photo Identity Card as mentioned in the e-Admit Card.
  • Entry Restrictions: Without the e-Admit Card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination venue. Entry closes 30 minutes before each session starts-09:00 AM for the forenoon session and 01:30 PM for the afternoon session. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
  • Photograph Requirements: If your e-Admit Card does not have a clear photograph, bring two passport-size photographs (one for each session) to affix to an undertaking at the examination venue.
  • Accuracy in OMR Sheet: Ensure accuracy while encoding and filling out details on the OMR/Answer sheet, especially regarding Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code. Any errors or omissions can lead to rejection of the Answer Sheet.
  • Preserve Admit Card: Keep your e-Admit Card safe until the final results are declared as proof of eligibility throughout the selection process.
