The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026 Admit Card shortly on its official portal, upsconline.nic.in. Candidates who successfully completed the application process will be able to download their hall tickets by logging in with their registration credentials once the link is activated.

The UPSC CMS 2026 written examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 2, 2026, in computer-based mode (CBT) at examination centres across the country. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,358 Medical Officer vacancies in various government healthcare organisations, including the Central Health Services, Indian Railways, Municipal Corporations, and other Central Government medical departments.
The admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination. It will contain important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, shift timing, exam-day instructions, and other guidelines. Candidates are advised to verify all details mentioned on the admit card immediately after downloading it and report any discrepancies to the UPSC before the examination date.
The UPSC CMS 2026 written examination will consist of two objective-type papers, both to be conducted on the same day.
Each paper will carry 250 marks, making the written examination worth 500 marks in total. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be shortlisted for the Personality Test (Interview), carrying 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in the written examination and interview.
