UPSC CDS (I) 2018: Written Examination Results Announced

The UPSC has announced the results of the CDS Examination (I), 2018. Candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website to check their results.

The long wait is over! The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the written examination's results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), which was conducted on Feb 4, 2018.

 

A total of 8261 candidates has been qualified for the next level of the selection process, the interview. Candidates who appeared for the CDS examination can now visit UPSC's official website to check their results.

How To Check The Results

Candidates are advised to visit the UPSC's official website - www.upsc.gov.in. On the right side of the home page, you will find the What's New section. Click on the ''Written Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2018.'' Subsequently, aspirants will be directed to a new window that consists of the result PDF.

UPSC CDS (I) 2018 Results Announced

Candidates who qualified in the written examination have to appear for an interview conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. After the interview, the selected candidates will be admitted to the courses at:
(i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 146th Course commencing in January, 2019
(ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in January, 2019
(iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (205 F(P)) commencing in February, 2019
(iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 109th SSC Course (NT)(for Men) commencing in April, 2019
(v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 23rd SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April, 2019

The successful candidates of the written exam are required to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks from the date the written results are announced, Mar 27, 2018. The candidates will be allotted selection centres and dates for the SSB interview, which shall be communicated on the registered e-mail ID. However, there is no need to submit the details again if candidate has already registered earlier.
