UPSC CDS 1 Exam on 21 April 2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to administer the UPSC CDS Examination on April 21, 2024. The exam is also known as the Combined Defence Services Examination. Candidates who have enrolled for the exam are expected to go to upsc.gov.in, the UPSC's official website, and download their admit cards there.

The CDS notification is issued by the UPSC twice a year, in April and September. Every time, CDS will release a recruiting notification for about 457 available positions. Applicants should be aware that the number of vacancies given in the notification is not final and could vary at any time at the discretion of the Services.

The Commission will release the answer key to the examinations, once the UPSC CDS 1 exam is over. The candidates will be chosen through a written exam, an interview, and an assessment of their IQ and personality. The individuals who have been shortlisted will be assigned to their respective academies based on merit and preference.
