UPSC conducted the CAPF AC written examination on July 19, 2026, and released the written result on August 25, 2026. The UPSC examination page also shows the name-wise result uploaded on September 8.

UPSC CAPF AC PST PET 2026: What Happens at the Physical Stage?

Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Under the CAPF AC 2026 examination scheme, candidates must first meet the prescribed physical standards before appearing for the PET.

The PET includes a 100-metre race, 800-metre race and long jump for both male and female candidates. Male candidates are also required to take part in the 7.26 kg shot put event.

How to Download UPSC CAPF AC Physical Admit Card 2026

Candidates appearing for the PST and PET can download their e-admit card through the SSB recruitment portal. The official SSB admit-card page lists CAPFs (AC) Exam-2026 under Advertisement No. 08/2026-CAPF, with the physical stage scheduled from October 13 to October 16.

Candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official SSB recruitment website.

2. Open the Admit Cards section.

3. Select the link for CAPFs (AC) Exam-2026 - PST and PET.

4. Enter the required candidate details.

5. Submit the information.

6. Download the physical-stage e-admit card.

7. Take a printout and carry it to the allotted test centre.

Candidates should carefully check the reporting date, time, venue and instructions printed on the call letter before appearing for the test.

UPSC CAPF AC 2026: What Happens After PST and PET?

Candidates who qualify the prescribed PST and PET are called for the Interview/Personality Test. UPSC's examination scheme states that the Interview/Personality Test carries 150 marks. Candidates who are declared unsuccessful in the PET will not proceed to the Interview/Personality Test.

After the interview stage, candidates undergo the prescribed Medical Standards Test. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks secured in the written examination and Interview/Personality Test, subject to fulfilment of the required medical standards.
