UPSC CAPF AC 2023; Exam Pattern, Selection, and more

The CAPF test 2023 is set to take place on August 6, 2023. Every year, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds the CAPF exam to recruit candidates for Assistant Commandant positions in armed police forces such as the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Exam Pattern

The exam will be administered in an offline format. The exam will last 5 hours in total. Part I and Part II of the exam are separated. The first exam is objective and is offered in both English and Hindi. The second exam is a descriptive type that can only be taken in English. There will be 450 questions in all.

Selection Process

A three-stage approach will be used to choose candidates for the UPSC CAPF recruitment 2023. The first part of the UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2023, the written test, will comprise of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. This page goes over the examination pattern in further detail. Candidates who pass the physical standard and fitness tests will be subjected to a medical examination. Candidates who have been pronounced physically and medically fit will proceed to the final round, which is a personal interview.
