UPSC Announces Tentative Calendar for 2024: Check Out Important Exam Dates for CSE Prelims, NDA, CDS, and More

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released its tentative annual calendar for the year 2024, announcing important dates for various exams. According to the calendar, the Civil Services Prelims Examination (CSE) 2024 and Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination (IFS) 2024 will be held on May 26, 2024. The UPSC CSE Mains exam is scheduled for September 20, 2024.

The commission has also announced that the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 exams will take place on April 21, while NDA and CDS 2 exams will be held on September 1, 2024. The UPSC Engineering Services preliminary Examination (ESE Prelims) 2024 is scheduled for February 18, and the ESE Mains exam will take place on June 23, 2024.

Candidates interested in the Combined Medical Services (CMS) exam can mark their calendars for July 14, 2024, while those interested in the UPSC CAPF ACs exam can appear for it on August 4, 2024.

Apart from these exams, the commission has reserved dates for UPSC Recruitment Tests (RTs) on January 13, February 24, March 9, July 6, August 10, October 19, and December 21, 2024.

It is important to note that the dates for notification, registration, and commencement of these exams are subject to change, and candidates are advised to keep an eye on the UPSC website for any updates.
