The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruiting 17 Assistant Prosecution Officers (APOs) Gazetted, through an examination process. Applications will be accepted only on payment of a prescribed fee through online mode before 25 January 2019. However, the last date for submission of online applications is 28 January 2019.
Candidates seeking application must have attained 21 years age at the time of application and must not have exceeded 40 years as on 1 July 2018, with a relaxation of 5 years (upper age limit) for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories and 55 years as the age bar for PWD candidates.

Educational Criteria And Fee Details
Candidates applying for the post of APO must hold a degree in law from a recognized University. Further, candidates who have served in the Territorial Army (TA) for at least a period of 2 years or secured a 'B' certificate in N.C.C will be given preference during selection.
Candidates are required to pay a requisite amount as examination fees for Prelims and Mains separately as prescribed by the State Commission for the respective categories through online mode only (Net-banking/credit/debit payments) through the State Bank multi-option payment gateway as detailed in the notification.

Selection Procedure And Pay
The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination comprising of Preims and Main examination followed by an interview. Only candidates qualifying the prelims will be allowed to sit for the Main examination.
The selected candidates will be paid emoluments as per Pay Level 8 in the pay scale of Rs 47,600/- to Rs. 1,51,100/-
