Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has recently released an official notification announcing the recruitment of PCS for 416 vacancies. The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the PCS post online through uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date to submit the application is 5 March 2021.

UPPSC PCS Recruitment 2021 For 416 Posts

There are a total of 416 vacancies available as part of the UPPSC Recruitment drive and the candidates can apply for various posts including Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Exam 2021 and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.) / Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) Services Exam 2021. However, if required, the number of posts may get increased after the result of the preliminary exam. The online application process had begun on 5 February 2021.

UPPSC PCS 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification of candidates depends on the post for which they are applying. The candidate must have at least a graduate degree or should be a diploma holder. The details regarding specific educational qualifications for some posts are given in the official notification at the end of this article.

Age Limit: The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and should not be above 40 years of age to apply for the posts.

The age relaxation is applicable to the reserved candidates as per the government norms.

Application Fee: The application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs. 125 while for SC/ST candidates it is Rs. 65.

UPPSC PCS 2021: Selection Criteria

The UPPSC exams are conducted on the UPSC IAS exam pattern. There are three stages of the UPPSC exam process and the candidates have to pass in all three stages to qualify for the UPPSC examination.

The candidates have to appear for the Prelims Exam first, then Written Exam followed by Interview through which the selection of the candidates will be made.

UPPSC PCS 2021: How To Apply

The willing and interested candidates can apply online for the post by visiting the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in. The application process has already begun on 5 February 2021 and will continue till 5 March 2021. The candidates need to fill in all the details in the application form and take a printout for future reference.
