The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has updated its exam schedule for 2024. Aspiring candidates can view the revised calendar on the official website - uppsc.up.nic.in.

Key Exam Dates

According to the revised calendar, the UPPSC prelims will be held on October 27, 2024. The UPPSC RO/ARO re-exam is scheduled for December 22, 2024.

Exam Structure

The UPPSC exams consist of three stages: prelims, mains, and an interview. The prelims include two papers: General Studies 1 and UPPSC CSAT-General Studies 2.

Exam Details

Each exam lasts for two hours. Paper 1 is from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while Paper 2 runs from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. There is a negative marking of 0.33 percent for each incorrect answer, while unanswered questions do not incur any penalties.

Scoring and Content

Each paper is worth 200 marks. Paper 1 consists of 150 questions, and Paper 2 has 100 questions.

Mains Exam Overview

The mains exam is more challenging, comprising eight papers. Subjects covered include General Hindi, General English, and General Studies.
