UPPCL Stenographer, Office Assistants Recruitment 2017 Notification Released: Check Now!

The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has released a notification about the recruitment of office assistants and stenographers of grade 3. The candidates who are interested to apply for the post can look up for details and apply through the official website.

The fee for the applications if Rs. 1000 for the general category candidates. The application process will commence on July 25, 2017. The pen and paper test for the posts will happen in the first half of September 2017.

There are a total of 2662 posts that are available to be filled. 2402 of these vacancies are for the post of Office Assistants of grade 3 and 260 posts are for Stenographers grade 3.

The selection of the applicants will be conducted based on the written examination and typing test. The candidates will have to appear for two examinations. The written test (CBT) will be conducted in Hindi and English languages. The first round of the exam will have 50 CCC level questions of NIELIT of one mark each with a negative marking of 0.35 marks.

The question paper will include questions on General Knowledge(25 marks), Logical reasoning (45 Marks), General Hindi (Intermediate level - 55 Marks), General English (Intermediate level - 55 Marks).

The paper 2, for the stenographers will have questions on the same topics as aforementioned burt the questions based on language will be of 65 Marks instead of 55 Marks.
