UP Police to Get 100,000 New Recruits in Two Years, Announces CM Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, announced a major recruitment drive intended to greatly increase the number of police officers in the state. The administration intends to appoint 100,000 young men and women to the Uttar Pradesh Police during the following two years.

During his visit to Varanasi, the Chief Minister paid respects to two of the city's most revered temples. Upon his arrival in Kashi on Sunday afternoon, Adityanath visited Baba Kaal Bhairav ​​and Shri Kashi Vishwanath temples, where he was greeted by devotees with chants of "Har Har Mahadev." This spiritual visit added a significant cultural and religious dimension to his political engagement in the region.
