UP Police recruiting constables under sports quota
Uttar Pradesh Police has released notification of recruitment for 200 constable posts (Male and Female) on sports quota. Vacancy is there for 160 male constables posts and 40 female constable posts.
The online registration will start from October 1, 2016 and the last date to register is October 21, 2016.
Eligibility:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India
- Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent from a recognized board
- Age of the candidate should be between 18 - 25 years as on July 1, 2016
- Age relaxation is applied to different categories
- Candidate should fulfill the eligibility of sports quota listed in the notification

Physical Standards:
For male candidates
- Height: 168 cm (160 cm for SC candidates)
- Chest: 79 cm (77 cm for SC candidates)
- Weight: Should be according to height but minimum should be 50 Kg
For Female candidates -
- Height: 152 cm (147 cm for SC candidates)
- Weight: Should be according to height but minimum should be 40 Kg
How to apply:
- Online application will start on the official site from October 1, 2016
- The application fee is of Rs. 200
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be done on the basis of the given tests -
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Examination
- Personal interview with document verification
