UP Police Constable PET 2026 Dates Announced for 32,679 Posts

The UP Police Constable PET 2026 schedule has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) for candidates shortlisted for the physical efficiency stage. As per the latest notice, the PET will be conducted from October 1, 2026, as part of the selection process for Constable Civil Police and equivalent positions.

UP Police Constable PET 2026 Dates Announced

The recruitment examination is being conducted for 32,679 posts. Candidates who cleared the written examination and were subsequently found eligible after Document Verification (DV) and the Physical Standard Test (PST) will now have to appear for the PET. UPPRPB has also specified the test dates for different centres and designated reserve days for candidates.

UP Police Constable PET 2026: Important Dates

As per the latest UPPRPB notice dated September 24, 2026, the PET for most districts will be held from October 1 to October 7, 2026. Candidates appearing at PET centres in Moradabad, Ghaziabad and Meerut will have an additional day, with the process continuing until October 8.

The board has clarified that the physical test will be conducted at the designated examination centres according to the schedule allotted to candidates.

UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The recruitment process began with the written examination, which was conducted on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026. Following the publication of the written examination result and normalised marks, candidates meeting the prescribed criteria were shortlisted for DV and PST.

The PET is the next stage for candidates who have successfully completed the earlier document verification and physical standard requirements. Candidates should carefully follow the instructions issued by UPPRPB for reporting and participation in the test.

UP Police Constable PET Admit Card 2026

UPPRPB has also issued a notice regarding the PET admit card. The board has stated that the admit cards will be uploaded on its official website approximately one week before the scheduled PET date. Candidates will need to download the admit card using the link provided by the board and appear at the centre on the date and time mentioned on it.

Candidates should regularly visit uppbpb.gov.in for the latest PET notices, admit card updates and other instructions. They should also ensure that they carry the required admit card and documents when reporting for the physical efficiency test.

With the UP Police Constable PET 2026 beginning on October 1, candidates shortlisted for this stage should check their individual schedule and prepare to report at the designated centre as instructed by UPPRPB.
