The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has updated the UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 schedule. Candidates can now access the revised timeline on the official UP NEET website; upneet.gov.in.
Important Dates and Registration Details:
The registration process for Round 2, which reopened on September 14, 2024, will remain open until September 19, 2024. During this period, candidates must complete their registration and pay the necessary registration and security deposits. The last date for submitting registration and security money is also set for September 19, 2024, and the updated merit list will be published on September 20, 2024.

- Online Choice Filling: September 23 to September 26, 2024
- Seat Allotment Result Declaration: September 28, 2024
Downloading Allotment Letters and Admission Dates:
- September 30, 2024
- October 1, 2024
- October 3, 2024

Security Deposit for New Candidates:
Candidates participating in Round 2 for the first time must pay a security deposit, which varies depending on the type of seat they are applying for:
- ₹30,000 for government medical college seats
- ₹2 lakh for private medical college seats
- ₹1 lakh for private-sector dental college seats
Steps to Register for UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2:
Candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 should follow these steps to complete their registration:
Step 1: Visit the official UP NEET UG Counselling website; upneet.gov.in.
Step 2: Click the "UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling Round 2" registration link.
Step 3: Enter your registration details and submit the information.
Step 4: Complete the application form and make the required payment.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.
For candidates who did not participate in the first round, a registration fee of ₹2,000 must be paid to be eligible for Round 2. However, candidates who registered and paid in Round 1 do not need to repeat the process or pay again.
