The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the UP Home Guard Final Result 2026 for the Home Guard Enrolment Recruitment 2025. The final selection result was published on October 3, 2026, and a total of 41,424 candidates have been selected for Home Guard posts across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates can check their selection status through the official UPPRPB website, uppbpb.gov.in.
Along with the final result, the board has made available the district-wise selection lists and final cut-off marks. The recruitment received 25,32,196 applications, highlighting the high level of competition for the posts. A total of 8,290 women candidates are included among the selected candidates.
The final selection has been prepared on the basis of the candidates' normalised written examination scores, marks for eligible preferential qualifications and district-wise merit, while applying the prescribed reservation policy. Separate selection lists have been issued for the relevant categories, including UR, EWS, OBC, SC and ST.
The board has also published the cut-off marks for the last selected candidate in each district. Since the vacancies and competition differed from one district to another, the final qualifying marks also vary by district and category.
UPPRPB has prescribed rules for situations where two or more candidates secure the same marks. In such cases, higher age is considered first. If the tie continues, the order of the first letter of the candidate's name as recorded in the High School certificate is used to determine merit.
The final selection is subject to completion of the required medical examination, educational qualification verification, preferential qualification verification, reservation certificate verification and character verification, wherever applicable.
The recruitment process began with the written examination, which was conducted on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026 in multiple shifts. Since the examination was held across different shifts, the marks were normalised according to the applicable rules.
Based on the written examination performance, 1,07,221 candidates were shortlisted for document scrutiny and the Physical Standard Test (PST). The document verification and PST were conducted from July 13 to August 7, 2026.
Candidates who cleared that stage were called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which was conducted from September 15 to September 26, 2026. The final merit list was prepared after completion of these stages.
