Uttar Pradesh Board Exams 2020 To Begin From February 18

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board has released the exam dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 students. The exams will begin from February 18, 2020.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj or Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board has released the exam dates for Class 10 and Class 12 students. According to the official sources, the exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will begin from February 18, 2020. The exams are scheduled to conclude on March 6, 2020. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma also informed about the examination schedule.

As per the schedule released by the Uttar Pradesh Board, the Class 10 will begin on February 18. The UP Board Class 10 board exams will end on March 3 while the Class 12 will end on March 6, 2020. The Class 10 examinations will conclude in 12 days. However, Class 12 will conclude in 15 days.

UP Board Exams 2020 Timetable

While announcing the exam schedule officially, the Board also declared the shift timing for morning and afternoon session. The morning session will start at 8 AM and end at 11:15 AM, which will help the students coming from far or remote areas. The afternoon session will take place between 2 PM and 5:15 PM.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma tweeted regarding the UP Board exam schedule.

He tweeted, ''Secondary education is going through a new transformation ... Technological experiments have been used for imitated exams ... Only 335 of 5 million students were caught copying.''

Deputy CM Sharma also tweeted, ''UP Board is one amongst the world's largest boards. Around 55 lakh candidates will be appearing for the 2020 board examination.''

The Board is also putting its best foot forward to release the exam results within 10 days. According to the sources, UP Board results will be released between 20 and 25 April, 2020. The board wants to conduct the exams in a fair and clean manner without any malpractices. The exams are going to be conducted at over 8000 centres across the state.
