The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) issued a warning today to students and parents about fraudulent calls. The board acknowledged the possibility of students and parents receiving calls promising to increase marks in the Uttar Pradesh board Class 10 and Class 12 exams.

UPMSP urged students and parents not to fall victim to such calls and to report them to the board. The official notice, shared by Dibyakant Shukla, Secretary of the Department of Education at Madhyamik Siksha Parisad (UP BOARD), on his official Twitter account, highlights that cybercriminals are attempting to extort money from candidates and their parents by offering to manipulate the exam results.
In previous years, authorities have taken action by filing First Information Reports (FIRs) against cyber fraudsters attempting such scams. UPMSP urges all candidates and their parents to ignore these fraudulent calls and resist temptation. If you receive such calls, please promptly report them to your district's District School Inspector.
The board aims to release the UP Class 10 and 12 results for 2024 by the end of April. Recently, the board secretary announced that the evaluation of the Class 10 and 12 board exams was completed within 12 days.
A total of 55,25,308 students registered for the UP Madhyamik and Intermediate exams in 2024, with 29,47,311 students enrolled for the UP Board Madhyamik exams and 25,77,997 for the UP Board Inter exams. The state board exams took place from February 22 to March 9.
