UP Board Releases 2025 Board Exam Timetable

To ensure smooth conduct and flexibility, the exams will be held in two shifts daily. The morning shift will run from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while the afternoon shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. This schedule accommodates the wide variety of subjects, giving students adequate time and focus to perform their best.

This year, the Uttar Pradesh board has noticed a slight dip in the number of students signing up for the exams, with 54,38,597 students registering compared to 55,25,342 last year. The numbers tell an interesting story: registrations for high school (Class 10) have dropped by 2,07,184 candidates, while intermediate (Class 12) registrations have risen by 1,20,439 students.

Hindi, Healthcare in the morning and afternoon shifts

The examination schedule kicks off with high school students tackling Hindi and Healthcare in the morning and afternoon shifts, respectively. Meanwhile, intermediate students will start their exam journey with Military Science in the morning followed by Hindi in the afternoon This structured approach ensures a smooth conduct of exams across the vast network of 27,000 UPMSP-affiliated schools.

To better accommodate the large number of students appearing for the exams, the board has increased the maximum capacity of examination centers to 2,000 students per center, a substantial jump from the earlier limit of 1,200. This expansion is made possible by utilizing the enhanced infrastructure of government-aided schools, ensuring every student has a seat for their exams. At the same time, the board has retained a minimum capacity of 250 students per center to maintain a balance.

For students and educators looking forward to the UP board exams in 2025, the detailed timetable is now accessible. It's available for download in a PDF format, offering a convenient way for all stakeholders to stay informed about the exam schedule and prepare accordingly.
