Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will be conducting the class 10 and class 12 board examinations starting from February 6, 2018.
The final examinations, which play a key role for the higher studies will start from February 6, 2018, and will go on till February 22, 2018, for the class 10 boards and March 10, 2018, for the Class 12 students.
Neena Srivastava, UP Board Secretary stated that the High School examinations will conclude on the record in 16 days this time. There are a total of 37,12, 508 students who will be appearing for the class 10 examination. An estimate of 30, 17, 032 students will be appearing for the class 12 board exam.
In comparison to the expected numbers for the coming year, the previous year saw 34, 01, 511 students for the class 10 exam and 26, 54, 492 students appeared for the class 12 boards exam in the state. There is clearly an increase in the number of students who will be appearing in the coming year.
The UP board will be bringing in new measures and are working on strategies to make sure that any form of fraud, mass cheating or malpractice is avoided. There have been similar cases in the past, which is a reason the board has taken up this decision.
