UP Board Intermediate Practical Exams 2026: Deadline Extended to February 13

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) popularly known as the UP Board has announced a fresh extension for the Intermediate (Class 12) practical examinations 2026. The board has now given schools and examiners until 13 February 2026 to complete all pending practicals and ensure that marks are uploaded to the official portal.

This extension comes after the initial schedule; split into two phases from 24 January-1 February and 2 February-9 February; saw several schools unable to finish examinations or upload students' practical scores on time.

What the Extension Means for Students

New Final Deadline: Schools must now conduct any remaining practical exams and ensure that all marks are uploaded online by 13 February 2026.

Last Opportunity: The board has described this as a final opportunity for students who missed earlier practicals due to logistical issues.

Accountability: UP Board officials have made it clear that examiners, school principals and district supervisors will be held responsible if practicals are not completed or uploaded by the extended deadline.

This decision is aimed at ensuring that no student misses out on their practical marks, which form a part of the final evaluation for the Intermediate examination cycle.

The extension follows reports from several institutions where practicals could not be conducted in time or marks were delayed for upload due to administrative and technical reasons. Recognising the large number of students involved and the need for fairness, the board chose to grant an additional window rather than rush the process.
