With lakhs of students eagerly awaiting their Class 10 and 12 board results, social media went into a frenzy recently. Posts claiming the UP Board results would be out on April 15 at 2:00 PM went viral across platforms, causing both excitement and anxiety. But before anyone could even warm up their browser, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) stepped in to shut down the rumors.

Results Are NOT Coming on April 15
The UPMSP has officially dismissed the viral claims as baseless and misleading. According to the board, no confirmed date or time has been announced yet for the 2025 results. They've urged students and parents to trust only the official websites - upmsp.edu.in and upmspresults.nic.in - for accurate information.
So, if you saw those result countdown posts on Instagram or WhatsApp forwards, take a deep breath - they're fake.
What's the Current Status?
- Exam Dates: February 24 to March 12, 2025
- Number of Exam Centers: 8,140 across Uttar Pradesh
- Answer Sheet Evaluation: Conducted from March 19 to April 2 at 261 centers
That means the board has already completed the toughest part - evaluation. Now, all that remains is the final compilation and review before the big announcement.
Looking at the Past Trends
Last year, the UP Board declared the results on April 20, revealing all the important data like overall pass percentages, top scorers, and district performance. This has led many to speculate that this year's results might also be announced around the third or fourth week of April. But remember - until UPMSP confirms it, it's all guesswork.
