University of Hyderabad started inviting applications for 5-year integrated PG courses

The University of Hyderabad (UOH) is now accepting applications for its five-year integrated post-graduation programs. These programs span 17 disciplines and are open to students who meet the required criteria. Admission will be based on CUET UG 2024 scores, with applications closing on August 15. The merit list for counselling will be released on August 22.

The verification and physical reporting process is scheduled for August 30-31, followed by the final admission list on September 2. The university offers a total of 178 seats for general category students, while reserved categories have allocated seats as follows:

SC candidates: 67 seats
ST candidates: 32 seats
OBC candidates: 119 seats
EWS candidates: 44 seats
PwD candidates: 21 seats

Prospective students can find detailed information about the integrated courses, including syllabus, course structure, fees, and hostel accommodation on the university's website. The application fee varies by category:

General candidates: Rs 300
OBC-NCL candidates: Rs 200
SC/ST/PwD/DP candidates: Rs 125

Merit List Criteria

The merit list will be prepared separately for each program based on the scores in the core papers identified by the university. Candidates must score a minimum of 50 marks in qualifying papers (35 marks for IMA Hindi, IMA Urdu, and IMA Telugu) to be considered for admission. Only those who meet the minimum cut-off marks in qualifying papers will be eligible for admission. The scores in these papers will not influence the rank; instead, ranks will be determined solely by scores in core papers. This ensures a fair assessment based on subject-specific knowledge.
