UGC Recruitment 2020 For Senior Statistical Assistants Post, Apply Online Before August 17

The University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling Eleven (11) vacancies to the post of Senior Statistical Assistants (SSA) through direct selection to be posted at the HQ in New Delhi, and its regional offices located at Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Guwahati, Bhopal and Hyderabad. The online application-cum-registration process towards the same started on June 28, 2020 and closes on August 17, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for Senior Statistical Assistants post through UGC Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 35 years of age, with a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years for employees of Central Govt., State Govt., Universities, Autonomous Bodies and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD categories as specified in the advertisement.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Candidates interested in applying for Senior Statistical Assistants post through UGC Recruitment 2020 must possess a Master's Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics/Commerce with Statistics as a subject from a recognised University/Institution with knowledge of computer applications/stat packages with minimum two years in data analysis and interpretation as detailed in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Senior Statistical Assistants post through UGC Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Test and Written/Skill Test.

Candidates selected as Senior Statistical Assistants post through UGC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
