The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the UGC NET June 2026 Result soon for candidates who appeared in the national eligibility examination. The UGC NET result and final answer key for 84 subjects are expected to be published on the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

NTA has also confirmed that the final answer keys and results for UGC NET 2026 covering 84 subjects will be published this week. Candidates are advised to rely only on official NTA announcements for the result date and other examination-related updates.
The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026, across 87 subjects. The examination determines candidates' eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions and admission to PhD programmes, as applicable.
The results will initially be declared for 84 subjects. Candidates who appeared for these papers can check their scores and qualifying status once the result link becomes active.
NTA released the provisional answer key for 84 subjects on August 16, 2026. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections, with the objection window closing on August 18, 2026.
After reviewing the challenges submitted by candidates, NTA will release the final answer key along with the UGC NET result. The final answer key will reflect the changes, if any, made after evaluation of the objections.
The UGC NET result for all 87 subjects will not be released together. NTA decided to conduct re-examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology after receiving complaints regarding multiple errors in the question papers.
The re-examinations for these three subjects are scheduled to be conducted in September 2026. Results for these subjects will be announced separately after the re-examinations are completed and the evaluation process concludes.
NTA has advised candidates to depend only on its official communications regarding the UGC NET result and final answer key.
The agency has stated that the final answer keys and results for UGC NET 2026 (84 subjects), CSIR-NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026 will be published on the NTA website this week.
Candidates should therefore regularly check the official UGC NET portal for the result link and further instructions.
