UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Expected Soon at ugcnet.nta.nic.in; Response Sheet and Challenge Process
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key shortly on its official portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. While the examination process, including the re-examination conducted on July 5, 2026, has been completed, NTA has not yet issued an official notification confirming the answer key release date.
Going by previous years' timelines, the provisional answer key, along with the question papers and recorded response sheets, is expected to be uploaded in the third or fourth week of July 2026. The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across the country.

Answer Key Challenge Process

To challenge an answer key, candidates will generally be required to:
- Log in to the UGC NET candidate portal.
- Select the question(s) they wish to challenge.
- Upload supporting academic evidence or references.
- Pay the prescribed processing fee online for each challenged question.
- Submit the challenge before the deadline.
Challenges submitted without payment or after the closing date are not considered. If the expert committee accepts an objection, the revised answer will be reflected in the final answer key, which forms the basis for result preparation.

3. Log in using the application number and date of birth/password.

What Happens After the Answer Key?
After the objection window closes, NTA will review all valid challenges through a panel of subject experts. Based on their recommendations, the agency will publish the final answer key, after which the UGC NET June 2026 result will be declared.
