UGC NET June 2024 Registration date extended, check the date here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam until May 15. Interested candidates can apply for the UGC-NET 2024 exam by visiting the NTA UGC website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The extension of dates comes in response to multiple requests from applicants. The online registration period for UGC-NET June 2024 will close on May 15, 2024. Registered candidates can pay their fees by credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI until May 16, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

Steps to apply for UGC NET 2024

• Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official website of UGC NET.
• Click on the link labeled "UGC NET June 2024" on the main page.
• Click on "new candidate register here."
• Fill out the online application form.
• Create a passcode and select a security question.
• Log in using the Application Number.
• Complete the application and enter the necessary information.
• Upload the required files and click the "Submit" button.
• Pay the application fee.
• Download and print the confirmation page for your records.

The application fee is ₹1150 for General/Unreserved candidates and ₹325 for SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender candidates. The fee payment should be done online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI. UGC NET will be conducted in 83 subjects in OMR (Pen & Paper) mode, consisting of two papers with objective type multiple-choice questions.
