UGC NET December 2023 Registration Deadline Extended; Steps to Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the UGC NET registration deadline to December 20, 2023. Candidates who wish to apply online should visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates have till 11:59 p.m. on October 31st to register for the UGC NET December 2023. Previously, the deadline was October 28, and the deadline for submitting examination fees was October 29. Candidates will be able to make changes to their online applications from November 1 to 3 (until 11:59 p.m.).

NTA is likely to release UGC NET test city information slips in the last week of December, followed by admit cards in the first week of December. The UGC NET December 2023 exam will be held from December 6 to December 22. The entire timetable will be made available later. Dates for the release of the answer key and the announcement of the results have yet to be determined.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2023?

Step 1: Go to the official website, which is ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the register link.
Step 3: Completing the application form and paying the application fee
Step 4: Click submit to finish the application process.
Step 5: Save the completed application form for future use.

Application Fees

The UGC NET application fee is Rs.1,150 for general or unreserved category candidates. The fee for general-EWS and OBC-NCL applicants is Rs.600.The exam fee is Rs.325 for SC, ST, PWD, and third gender candidates.
