The remaining three subjects - English, Commerce and Sociology - have not been included in this release. A separate notice regarding these three papers is expected based on the committee's recommendations.

UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Window 2026

Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer mentioned in the provisional answer key can challenge the concerned question through the online objection facility.

The challenge window is open from August 16 to August 18, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Candidates must submit their objections within the prescribed deadline, as challenges received after the closing time will not be considered.

A processing fee of ₹200 per question challenged is applicable. The payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking until the challenge window closes.

Candidates should carefully check the provisional answer key and provide appropriate supporting evidence while submitting an objection.
